Rules for visitors

To ensure the preservation of the works on display and respect for the museum environment visitors are kindly requested to observe the following rules:

Maximum capacity: Access to the rooms is limited to groups of up to 15 people at a time.

No touching: It is forbidden to touch the furniture and objects on display. The preservation of the historical furnishings requires the utmost care from everyone.

Musical instruments: It is strictly forbidden to play the fortepianos in the rooms.

No sitting: It is not permitted to sit on period chairs, armchairs or sofas even if they are not protected by barriers.

Photography: Photography and video recording are permitted. The use of flash is prohibited during filming in order to avoid damage to light-sensitive materials.

Museum staff are authorised to enforce these rules. Violators may be asked to leave the building.
