This small living room has a ceiling decorated with human faces and eagles on a sky blue background with green diamonds. In the centre is a dancer connected to four identical scenes: a dancer in sky blue Turkish dress among plant decorations and a small panel depicting a seated woman, all in imitation of Pompeian painting.
The walnut chest of drawers is richly carved with geometric motifs and has brass handles in the late 17th-century style. The 19th-century table is surrounded by four chairs with white damask cotton seats from the same period. The print on the wall depicts one of the proverbs of the Tuscan, Giuseppe Piattoli, and is entitled “Le donne per parer belle si fanno brutte” (Women make themselves ugly to look beautiful).
