The ceiling of the bedroom, painted in light blue and azure, is decorated at the four corners with a zither, identical to the one found on the entrance gate to the Colle Celeste park. The wrought-iron four-poster bed with blue blanket and curtains dates back to the first half of the 19th century as do the two chests of drawers. On the right-hand side there is a rectangular mirror with a carved wooden frame and on the left-hand side there is a petroleum lamp.
Of particular elegance are the kneeler with a fine embroidered cushion and, in one corner, the mirror with a wooden frame. All the furniture dates back to the 19th century.
Hanging on the walls are two prints: Saint Rita of Cascia and the Immaculate Madonna with the Eternal Father and Angels.
The latter, dating from 1700, is based on the original by Pietro da Cortona for the church of the Filippini in Perugia, and the presence of this subject has been linked to the entry into the Dominican monastery in Perugia of Gaspare Spontini’s sister, Sister Teresa Augusta.
